Mένει στον Παναθηναϊκό ο Γιασικεβίτσιους
Το μεγαλύτερο σίριαλ του φετινού καλοκαιριού έληξε. Στο τελευταίο επεισόδιο του ο Σαρούνας Γιασικεβίτσιους συμφώνησε με την πρόταση ανανέωσης που του πρότεινε ο Παναθηναϊκός.
Η εξ αρχής διαφωνία του «Σάρας» με την πρόταση του Παναθηναϊκού είχε να κάνει με τη χρονική διάρκεια και όχι με το ύψος της αμοιβής, αφού είχε επέλθει συμβιβασμός για αυτήν στο 1,5 εκατομμύριο ευρώ ετησίως.
Ο Λιθουανός ωστόσο διαφωνούσε με την παρουσία οψιόν στο συμβόλαιο του από την πλευρά του Παναθηναϊκού το επόμενο καλοκαίρι. Βλέπετε, ήθελε να είναι εξασφαλισμένος σε ένα βαθμό τουλάχιστον ότι δεν θα χρειαστεί να περάσει ανάλογη δοκιμασία με τη φετινή και το καλοκαίρι του 2010. Παρά ταύτα, το αίτημα του συναντούσε την αντίρρηση των «πρασίνων», οι οποίοι επιθυμούσαν να έχουν λόγο στην παραμονή του «Σάρας» στην ομάδα τους για τέταρτο συνεχόμενο χρόνο.
Ο Λιθουανός πόιντ γκαρντ θα υπογράψει για 1+1 χρόνια, με τις ετήσιες απολαβές του να αγγίζουν το 1,8 εκατ. ευρώ και με τον όρο, που δέχτηκαν οι «πράσινοι», ότι μπορεί να αποχωρήσει από την ομάδα το επόμενο καλοκαίρι, αν φύγει ο Ζέλιμιρ Ομπράντοβιτς.

Κατά φαντασίαν ασθενής
Το τελευταίο δημιούργημα του Μολιέρου, τον «Κατά φαντασίαν ασθενή» παρουσιάζει ο Γιάννης Μπέζος το φετινό καλοκαίρι. Ο καλλιτέχνης σκηνοθετεί το κύκνειο άσμα του κορυφαίου γάλλου δραματουργού και υποδύεται επί σκηνής τον Αργκάν, τον κατά φαντασίαν ασθενή, κωμικό στην εμμονή του, αλλά και τραγικό συνάμα, που τα βάζει με την αρρώστια που δεν έχει, το θάνατο που δεν τον απειλεί και, πάνω απ' όλα, με τους γιατρούς που τον εκμεταλλεύονται. Θέλοντας να ξορκίσει με το γέλιο τους βαθύτερους ανθρώπινους φόβους, ο Μολιέρος χτίζει έναν κόσμο κωμικής υπερβολής, όπου η υγεία μπερδεύεται με το χρήμα, η αγάπη με τα φάρμακα, ο γάμος με την ιατρική.
Απόλυτος «αθλητής» του θεάτρου, ο Μολιέρος ερμήνευε ο ίδιος τον «Κατά φαντασίαν ασθενή» –το κύκνειο άσμα του– όταν στην τέταρτη παράσταση του έργου, στις 17 Φεβρουαρίου του 1673, έκρυψε μ’ ένα γέλιο την αιμόπτυση και κατέρρευσε με το κλείσιμο της αυλαίας, για να πεθάνει λίγο αργότερα σπίτι του. Αυτή τη φορά στο στόχαστρο του μεγάλου κλασικού της γαλλικής κωμωδίας μπαίνουν η υποχονδρία και η ιατρική σοβαροφάνεια, οι προλήψεις, ο κομπογιαννιτισμός και η απληστία, ενώ ταυτόχρονα διακρίνεται και μια σκιά αγωνίας θανάτου. Παράλληλα, η κωμωδία απηχεί την πίκρα του για τις προσωπικές ατυχίες του και για τις προδοσίες των ανθρώπων (ιδιαίτερα της γυναίκας του).
Υπόθεση: Ο Αργκάν είναι ένας αρρωστοφοβικός εξαρτημένος από τους γιατρούς και τα φάρμακα. Αισθάνεται συνεχώς άρρωστος, αν και στ' αλήθεια δεν έχει τίποτε. Αδυνατεί να ακολουθήσει τις υποδείξεις των γιατρών και εκείνοι τον εκμεταλλεύονται. Θέλει να παντρέψει την κόρη του, Ανζελίκ με ένα γιατρό προκειμένου να έχει δωρεάν ιατρική φροντίδα, αλλά εκείνη είναι ερωτευμένη με τον Κλεάνθη.
Ο αδερφός του, σε συνεργασία με την υπηρέτρια του Αργκάν, Τουανέτ, θα προσπαθήσει να τον "θεραπεύσει" από τις φαντασιοπληξίες του. Τον πείθουν να παραστήσει το νεκρό ώστε να ανακαλύψει ποιος πραγματικά τον αγαπάει και του είναι πιστός. Θα αποδειχθεί τελικά ότι η δεύτερη σύζυγός του κυνηγούσε μόνο την περιουσία του ενώ η κόρη του τον αγαπούσε πραγματικά. Μετά την "νεκρανάσταση" του, ο Αργκάν θα επιτρέψει στην Ανζελίκ να παντρευτεί τον άντρα που θα επιλέξει εκείνη.

Απόλυτος «αθλητής» του θεάτρου, ο Μολιέρος ερμήνευε ο ίδιος τον «Κατά φαντασίαν ασθενή» –το κύκνειο άσμα του– όταν στην τέταρτη παράσταση του έργου, στις 17 Φεβρουαρίου του 1673, έκρυψε μ’ ένα γέλιο την αιμόπτυση και κατέρρευσε με το κλείσιμο της αυλαίας, για να πεθάνει λίγο αργότερα σπίτι του. Αυτή τη φορά στο στόχαστρο του μεγάλου κλασικού της γαλλικής κωμωδίας μπαίνουν η υποχονδρία και η ιατρική σοβαροφάνεια, οι προλήψεις, ο κομπογιαννιτισμός και η απληστία, ενώ ταυτόχρονα διακρίνεται και μια σκιά αγωνίας θανάτου. Παράλληλα, η κωμωδία απηχεί την πίκρα του για τις προσωπικές ατυχίες του και για τις προδοσίες των ανθρώπων (ιδιαίτερα της γυναίκας του).
Υπόθεση: Ο Αργκάν είναι ένας αρρωστοφοβικός εξαρτημένος από τους γιατρούς και τα φάρμακα. Αισθάνεται συνεχώς άρρωστος, αν και στ' αλήθεια δεν έχει τίποτε. Αδυνατεί να ακολουθήσει τις υποδείξεις των γιατρών και εκείνοι τον εκμεταλλεύονται. Θέλει να παντρέψει την κόρη του, Ανζελίκ με ένα γιατρό προκειμένου να έχει δωρεάν ιατρική φροντίδα, αλλά εκείνη είναι ερωτευμένη με τον Κλεάνθη.
Ο αδερφός του, σε συνεργασία με την υπηρέτρια του Αργκάν, Τουανέτ, θα προσπαθήσει να τον "θεραπεύσει" από τις φαντασιοπληξίες του. Τον πείθουν να παραστήσει το νεκρό ώστε να ανακαλύψει ποιος πραγματικά τον αγαπάει και του είναι πιστός. Θα αποδειχθεί τελικά ότι η δεύτερη σύζυγός του κυνηγούσε μόνο την περιουσία του ενώ η κόρη του τον αγαπούσε πραγματικά. Μετά την "νεκρανάσταση" του, ο Αργκάν θα επιτρέψει στην Ανζελίκ να παντρευτεί τον άντρα που θα επιλέξει εκείνη.

Λος Άντζελες: Βραβείο στο "Γκίνες"
Τζιμ Γιαννόπουλος, πρόεδρος της 20th Century Fox, παρέδωσε στον Γιώργο Πυρπασόπουλο και τη Μαρκέλλα Γιαννάτου το βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας του Φεστιβάλ Ελληνικού Κινηματογράφου του Λος Αντζελες, εκπροσωπώντας την ταινία «Γκίνες» του Αλέξη Καρδαρά. Όπως δήλωσε ο πρόεδρος της Fox στους πρωταγωνιστές της ταινίας, το «Γκίνες» είναι από τις καλύτερες ελληνικές ταινίες που έχει δει. Άποψη που βρήκε σύμφωνους και δεκάδες Αμερικανούς από τον κόσμο του κινηματογράφου. Το φεστιβάλ έκλεισε με την προβολή της ταινίας της Νία Βαρντάλος, «Έρωτας αλά Ελληνικά», ενώ ανάμεσα στις ταινίες που προβλήθηκαν ήταν και το «Μικρό Έγκλημα» του Χρίστου Γεωργίου.
Η ταινία «Γκίνες», που έκανε πρεμιέρα στην Αθήνα τον περασμένο Φεβρουάριο, θα παραμείνει στην Αμερική, αφού πολλά αμερικανικά φεστιβάλ, αλλά και άνθρωποι της κινηματογραφικής βιομηχανίας, έδειξαν μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον να τη συμπεριλάβουν στο πρόγραμμά τους.
Η υπόθεση; Γκαντέμης χαρτοπαίχτης με το παρατσούκλι «Γκίνες» αναζητάει χρυσάφι θαμμένο σε ερημική ταβέρνα. Όλα πάνε καλά ως τη στιγμή που η όμορφη γυναίκα τού ταβερνιάρη τον ερωτεύεται. Και τότε η ατυχία του ξεπερνάει κάθε προηγούμενο. Χιούμορ, γκανστερική δράση, περιπέτεια και σασπένς σε μια απρόβλεπτη κωμωδία.
Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Γιώργος Πυρπασόπουλος και Μαρκέλλα Γιαννάτου, πλαισιωμένοι από τους Στέλιο Μάινα, Αντώνη Καφετζόπουλο, Κωνσταντίνο Κορωναίο, Δημήτρη Αλεξανδρή, Άκη Σακελλαρίου και τον Αλέξη Καρδαρά στο σενάριο και την σκηνοθεσία.
