Το Breaking Bad σε δύο μεγάλα περιοδικά!
Το περιοδικό GQ επέλεξε το καστ του Breaking Bad ως το καλύτερο αντρικό καστ της τηλεόρασης.
Στην σειρά αυτή, όμως, αναφέρθηκε και το Forbes, αναλύοντας τους 6 λόγους (μόνο?) που το Breaking Bad είναι η καλύτερη σειρά του 2011.

Cesária Évora - Η ντίβα των φτωχών
Πριν μια βδομάδα, συγκεκριμένα στις 17 Δεκεμβρίου, πέθανε η μεγάλη Cesária Évora. Καθυστερήσαμε να γράψουμε κάτι, αλλά συνειδητοποιήσαμε ότι ήταν, ίσως, ο θάνατος που μας ταρακούνησε πιο πολύ τον χρόνο που μας πέρασε.
Η Cesária Évora γεννήθηκε στις 27 Αυγούστου του 1941 στο Πράσινο Ακρωτήρι. Μέχρι τα 46 της τραγουδούσε σε ταβέρνες με ακροατήριο τουρίστες. Ήταν διάσημη στο νησί της, χωρίς όμως να έχει και επιτυχία στα οικονομικά. Η δυσχερής οικονομική και πολιτική κατάσταση στη νησιωτική της χώρα, σε συνδυασμό με τα προσωπικά και οικονομικά της προβλήματα, την οδήγησαν στην απόφαση να σταματήσει το τραγούδι, ώστε να υποστηρίξει οικονομικά την οικογένειά της. Επί δέκα χρόνια δεν τραγούδησε και η ίδια τα περιγράφει ως "σκοτεινά χρόνια." Την ίδια περίοδο πάλεψε με τον αλκοολισμό.
Το 1987 την άκουσε ένας παραγωγός από το Παρίσι και της ζήτησε να τον ακολουθήσει για την πρώτη της επαγγελματική ηχογράφηση. Η ίδια σκέφτηκε πως δεν είχε πολλά να χάσει και τον ακολούθησε για να ηχογραφήσει την πρώτη συλλογή τραγουδιών της υπό τον τίτλο «Ξυπόλυτη ντίβα», προσωνύμιο που την ακολούθησε σε όλη της τη ζωή αφού τις περισσότερες φορές τραγουδούσε χωρίς παπούτσια. Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2011 ανακοίνωσε πως θέτει τέλος στη μουσική της καριέρα, ακυρώνοντας τις προγραμματισμένες συναυλίες της, καθώς βρισκόταν «σε κατάσταση μεγάλης εξάντλησης» και αποσύρθηκε στο Πράσινο Ακρωτήρι. Η Έβορα είχε υποβληθεί το 2010 σε επέμβαση ανοιχτής καρδιάς, στο Παρίσι, έπειτα από σοβαρά προβλήματα που παρουσίασε στην στεφανιαία αορτή.
Έφυγε τελικά από τη ζωή στις 17 Δεκεμβρίου 2011 ενώ νοσηλευόταν στην εντατική σε κρίσιμη κατάσταση.
