Ανανεώθηκαν τα Homeland & The Affair

Ευχάριστα νέα για τους φανς των σειρών του Showtime, Homeland και The Affair. Το κανάλι αποφάσισε να συνεχίσουν και οι δύο σειρές για άλλη μία σεζόν.

Το The Affair, που πρωταγωνιστούν οι Dominic West, Ruth Wilson και Joshua Jackson, θα έχει 10 επεισόδια στην δεύτερη σεζόν, ενώ το Homeland, με την Claire Danes, 12 επεισόδια για την πέμπτη του σεζόν, η οποία θα προβληθεί το 2015.

Το The Affair έχει μέσο όρο 3.9 εκατομμύρια τηλεθεατές κάθε εβδομάδα και το Homeland 6 εκατομμύρια. "Το Homeland συνεχίζει να προσελκύει το ενδιαφέρον των φανς και έχει προωθήσει επιτυχημένα το The Affair", δήλωσε ο πρόεδρος του Showtime, David Nevins. Το Penny Dreadful ανανεώθηκε για δεύτερη σεζόν από το Showtime και σα να μην έφτανε αυτό, το κανάλι υποσχέθηκε και σεζόν δέκα επεισοδίων!

"Προσπαθούμε να κάνουμε κάτι διαφορετικό για το Showtime και να βρούμε μια σειρά που θα μας ξανα - καθιερώσει στην εποχή μετά το Dexter", δήλωσε ο David Nevins, από το Showtime. "Φαίνεται ότι πετυχαίνουμε δύο στόχους με μια σειρά που έχει βάθος, είναι πλούσια, με περίπλοκους χαρακτήρες και ενδιαφέρουσα ψυχολογία σε συνδυασμό με το είδος που εκπροσωπεί. Έξι σειρές ανανεώνει το ABC! Τα Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, Revenge και Castle όλα ανανεώθηκαν για άλλη μία σεζόν.

Ακόμα, το Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. θα πάει και δεύτερη σεζόν και θα προστεθεί άλλη μία σειρά της Marvel, το Agent Carter, στο οποίο θα πρωταγωνιστεί η Hayley Atwell και θα διαδραματίζεται ένα χρόνο μετά τα γεγονότα του Captain America: The First Avenger.

Το Orange Is the New Black ανανεώθηκε και επίσημα για τρίτη σεζόν, πριν ακόμα ξεκινήσει η προβολή της δεύτερης.
Δεν προκάλεσε έκπληξη η ανανέωση της σειράς, αφού θεωρείται η μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία του Netflix, αν και δεν υπάρχουν επίσημοι αριθμοί για την τηλεθέαση.
Η δεύτερη σεζόν της σειράς θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στις 6 Ιουνίου.

Οι κωμωδίες του HBO, Veep και Silicon Valley, ανανεώθηκαν για άλλη μία σεζόν από το κανάλι. Το Veep θα πάει για τέταρτη σεζόν, ενώ το Silicon Valley για την δεύτερη.

Το Silicon Valley έκανε την πρεμιέρα του νωρίτερα αυτόν τον μήνα και είχε την μεγαλύτερη προώθηση κωμικής σειράς στο HBO από το Hung το 2009. Το Veep διανύει την καλύτερή του σεζόν, με την Julia Louis-Dreyfus και τον Tony Hale να κερδίζουν πέρσι στα Emmys.

Το The Americans ανανεώθηκε για τρίτη σεζόν από το κανάλι FX. Στη σειρά πρωταγωνιστούν οι Keri Russell και Matthew Rhys ως δύο Ρώσοι κατάσκοποι που ζουν στις ΗΠΑ.

"Το The Americans συνεχίζει να είναι μία από τις καλύτερες σειρές στην τηλεόραση", δήλωσε ο πρόεδρος του καναλιού, Eric Schrier. "Οι executive producers Joe Weisberg, Joel Fields και Graham Yost έκαναν υπέροχη δουλειά σε αυτές τις δύο σεζόν, και οι ερμηνείες από τους Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys και Noah Emmerich είναι εκπληκτικές. Το Bates Motel ανανεώθηκε για τρίτη σεζόν και θα επιστρέψει για άλλα δέκα επεισόδια το 2015.

"Η απίστευτη συγγραφική ομάδα και το ταλαντούχο καστ του Bates Motel έχουν κάνει αυτή την σειρά ένα από τα πιο δυνατά δράματα της τηλεόρασης", δήλωσε ο David McKillop, γενικός διευθυντής του καναλιού. "Η υπέροχη πλοκή και οι ανατροπές των δύο τελευταίων σεζόν κάνει το κοινό να επιστρέφει και για άλλο. Ήμαστε υπερήφανοι για την σειρά."

Στο Bates Motel πρωταγωνιστούν οι Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke και Nestor Carbonell.

Ανακοινώθηκε το καστ της τέταρτης σεζόν του American Horror Story!

Αρχικά μάθαμε ότι ο τίτλος της τέταρτης σεζόν του American Horror Story θα είναι "Freak Show". Τώρα μαθαίνουμε και ποιοι θα συμπληρώνουν το καστ.

Η Jessica Lange θα είναι η πρωταγωνίστρια και θα υποδύεται μια Γερμανίδα, η οποία οργανώνει ένα από τα τελευταία freak shows στις ΗΠΑ. Η 4η σεζόν θα διαδραματίζεται το 1950 στο Jupiter της Florida και θα συμμετέχουν επίσης οι Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett και Frances Conroy ως performers του "καρναβαλιού", τους οποίους έχει σώσει ο χαρακτήρας της Lange.

Επίσης, σε συζητήσεις για να επιστρέψουν στην σειρά, βρίσκονται οι Emma Roberts και Denis O'Hare.

Η πετυχημένη σειρά του CBS, Big Bang Theory, ανανεώθηκε για άλλες τρεις σεζόν από το κανάλι. Οι πρωταγωνιστές της σειράς Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg και Kunal Nayyar θα ανανεώσουν τα συμβόλαιά τους στο τέλος της σεζόν. Η Mayim Bialik και η Melissa Rauch έκλεισαν συμφωνία πέρσι.

"Η κωμωδία είναι μεγάλο μέρος του προγράμματός μας και το Big Bang Theory είναι η μεγαλύτερη κωμική δύναμη στην τηλεόραση", δήλωσε το CBS. "Είμαστε πολύ περήφανοι να δουλεύουμε κάθε βδομάδα με ταλέντα όπως ο Chuck Lorre, ο Steve Moralo και αυτό το υπέροχο καστ."
